Leszek's been working on a new compact 120w tube head - the WB-100 - and he's just posted pics of one on Facebook. Yum. If I get any more details, I'll post them here. Presumably it’s similar to the R400, so when it’s ‘flat’, it has virtually zero baked-in EQ. You can scoop the mids by bumping the bass / treble (or use contour knob), or increase them by reducing the bass and treble. That said - I’ve never wanted/needed to increase the mids on the R400 - from the start, they shine like no other amp I’ve owned. Quote
