Osiris
Hadn't heard about this until just now. Fastway were the first proper band I saw when they supported AC/DC on the Fly on the Wall tour, back in '86 (I think?).
PaulWarning
yep, live hard die (relatively) young, they haven't all got the constitution of Keef unfortunately, that's them all gone now, along with The Ramones, got me wondering how many other bands have none of the original line up left alive

spongebob
I've loved Motorhead since I was 13, grabbing the 'No Remorse' compo back in '87. Sadly, I never saw the Fast Eddie era live, as my first time was the Hammersmith Odeon, December' 88, with Lem, Phil, Wurzel, and Philthy. I love all the line-ups and eras. Last of their kind...they really lived it. Sad day for us Motorheadbangers. RIP Eddie. Edited January 11, 2018 by spongebob

Frank Blank
I saw Motörhead at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on 12th of April 1982. They were so loud they caused the building structural damage... proper. The second loudest band I've ever seen. Barking Spiders
I'm quite sad to hear that and not a good way to go. So that's now the classic and the best line up all gone.

Queen at the Manchester Apollo... Anyway saw Fast Eddie and the boys in the classic Motorhead line-up on the 'Ace of Spades' tour but they were still using the Bomber lighting rig... very impressive. Less so Vardis & Girlschool supporting. Vardis sporting the old talc in the hair routine. Edited January 11, 2018 by visog

Shouldn't the album be renamed Ace of Spayed! RIP Eddie. I only ever saw the line-up with Lemmy, Filthy and Wurzel but he had such a great tone to his playing. Sad way to go too. Green Alsatian
RIP Eddie. I've liked all the incarnations of Motorhead, but loved the Lem, Phil and Eddie lineup. I love Eddie's anecdotes that are up on YouTube - particularly the one he's in a lift with the NY police after Phil did himself an injury in a hotel and Eddie was whizzing! Think he used to have a Special Brew to come down from it.
DarkHeart
Gutted, Kilmister, Clarke and Taylor shaped my youth, loved the band, don`t normally wear band tee`s at gigs but my `head one will be worn tomorrow night. RIP Eddie.
Fastra
Sad news indeed. Still find it hard to believe that anyone in this 'day and age' can die from Pneumonia. But only this morning it clamed the life of an 18 year old too. This image has been kicking about on Facebook, which I've found quite poignant... Great watch here ....
