I was bidding on one a while back which eventually sold for just over £400 - one bid more than mine.

Can you say  "rare" when they were produced for 2 years - how many did they produce each year?

Cor - and they say Fender just do the same old designs.

Sadly, I think the "rare" is probably because not many people bought them...

I have one of these. Was my main gigging bass for many years. Best neck I’ve ever played. These are super rare now, especially in the UK.

For £400 I’d jump. £700...not sure I could. Don’t they have a totally parallel neck, like a pencil?
