OK, I admit - a buying error. I can't use flats!!

Received from Strings Direct yesterday, fitted to my Modulus Flea V, (so G string will probably not fit a five in line head now), noodled for less than five minutes, taken off bass and back in packet.

34" scale, 52,73,95,110,128 guage.

Price includes post and packing. As good as new. Just short of £60 paid.

Was it the tension that you couldn’t get on with? That’s a pretty heavy gauge of flat wound you bought and there are lighter sets available.

That's handy news "Q", maybe I'll buy a cheaper and lighter guage set so that it's not too costly a mistake next time. I'll try them on a more traditional bass too.
