Skybone Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Can any one recommend a good, reasonably priced online string retailer? Looked at all the usual suspects, like Stringbusters, Strings Direct, eBay, etc., but are there any others out there that folk use and can recommend? All this talk of string brands, and the qualities of the different lines makes me want investigate various options. Quote
Delberthot Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 (edited) I got a crazy deal on D'addario strings on Bax but a lot of the time you need to be there at the right time as I've found that their deals can change quickly. I bought 4 twin packs of D'addario EXL165s for £26 a pack (£13 a set). At the moment Strings Direct are £40 for the twin packs Edited January 14, 2018 by Delberthot Quote
The59Sound Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Amazon UK when DR strings are marked really low. Bass Specialities on eBay is good. 1 Quote
NJE Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 I have actually found Bass Direct very competitive in the past. I remember getting an amazing deal on Dunlop Super Brights from them. Quote

I've bought Hi Beams and Fat Beams from 3rd party retailers on there for close to half normal price, including delivery from the US. Edited January 16, 2018 by Cato Quote
Skybone Posted January 16, 2018 Author Posted January 16, 2018 Bizarrely enough, I've just bought a Mono Betty strap from Amazon for £35, including free postage. Bargain, seeing as they're about £42 everywhere else. Quote
