I think it went down to £200-ish, but were mostly in the 200-350 range. You'd expect those not to suck at that price point so not exactly a surprise.

Isnt it Cort that make the Ibanez and Squier basses anyway? +1 for the Sub Ray 4. A cracking bass in all departments. Think you guys are being  a tad harsh here though the distortion doesn't do the Ray any favours. It would've been better to demo some slap n pop. After all the Stingray is widely favoured by funkers

Quite. A Harley Benton PB-50 for around a hundred quid can't be beat - if the first thing you do is put some flats on it. Classic P thump and very playable.
