arthurhenry
Does anyone know where I can order replacement machine heads for a Danelectro DC? Mine is the reissue fron the early 2000s, which has plastic tuners on the machine heads. I notice the recent reissue has all metal machine heads, so would like to buy a set of those, or an alternative which would suit the bass. Thanks. casapete
John Hornby Skewes in Leeds are the UK distributor. They will be able to help you locate some suitable replacements via one of their dealers local to you. https://www.jhs.co.uk/brands/danelectro

casapete
I've had Danos with both types, and although not so 'vintage accurate' the all metal versions are a definite improvement. Had them on my Longhorn Pro for 10 years with no bother! Hope you get sorted, all the best.
