Mine is the reissue fron the early 2000s, which has plastic tuners on the machine heads. I notice the recent reissue has all metal machine heads, so would like to buy a set of those, or an alternative which would suit the bass. Thanks. Quote

casapete Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 I've had Danos with both types, and although not so 'vintage accurate' the all metal versions are a definite improvement. Had them on my Longhorn Pro for 10 years with no bother! Hope you get sorted, all the best. Quote
