Been years since I tried /Had a Wal..so shooting a bit in the dark. I did ask for any possible weight saving as well, but not at the cost to any possible balance issues. stingrayPete1977 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I'm not really into wooden looking basses but I do like Wals. Quote
White Cloud Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Lovely looking bass, what is the top wood? The Wal filter pre-amp is amazing. 1 Quote

Paul S Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 The settee is looking a bit worn. Or am I thinking of something else? That looks amazing. I've never picked up a Wal (not sure I could - aren't they a bit heavy?) but love everything about the look of them! Quote

drTStingray Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Fabulous bass - congratulations. You guys are doing nothing for my Wal GAS. Love the paduak facing. i was talking to a friend who has one on order last night - he buys a lot of basses having just received a Jaydee Supernatural after a couple of years on order, we were talking about CITIES certificates and whether manufacturers provide them these days? He's had an issue with selling/buying some basses from abroad. He seems to be on a quest to buy one of everything!! Do you know if Wal provide them for a new bass or would it be an add on cost - none of us would ever plan to sell a bass like this but I guess with a Wal it does open further possibilities if the unthinkable does happen. Highfox Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 Thanks Dr I think I read somewhere that Paul/Wal provides a CITIES certificate with all it's new basses now. Not 100% sure as I didn't think to ask! Quote
