Sibob Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 So a few years after serving a cease and desist to Fuzzrocious for using the ‘Rat Tail’ name for their modded Rat clone....they use the Rat Tail name themselves? Nice one Pro-Co Si Quote

radiophonic Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 That’s just foolish. You can already get a Rat clone for the same money as a decent Guitar lead. Even a ProCo one isn’t expensive. A solution to a problem that didn’t exist and no use at all if you run any pedals before your drive. Quote
elephantgrey Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 If I where to go pedalless but still wanted a RAT I'd just mod one into a bass. Quote

discreet Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 What if you have a RAT cable into your RAT, then another RAT cable afterwards? Do you get a shed-load of distortion? Or a serious rodent infestation? Or both? Quote
Sibob Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 It's a classic case of trying to solve a problem with a product, but the problem doesn't exist (or certainly only in very, VERY small numbers). Si Quote
Quatschmacher Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) I reckon it’s an April Fool’s joke waiting to happen for an unsuspecting vocalist. Edited January 19, 2018 by Quatschmacher Quote

Painy Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I'm gutted. I was planning to bring out a range of plectrums with a built in chorus effect but this has completely stolen my thunder! Seriously though, if you want to go pedal free but still have distortion then we can only hope that one day somebody will be able to advance technology enough that we can live in a crazy musical utopia where you can get an actual amplifier with the effect built in so that you no longer have to have your distortion built into a cable before you can rock out. Dream big kids, dream big! 1 Quote
