Anyone recommend a stand for an Epiphone Thunderbird? Mine decided to jump out onto the floor last night. Which failed to amuse me. đŸ˜„

Not quite on topic, but...

If your cabs have handles on them, then a quick release strap to attach the bass to the cab is pretty fooolproof, and takes up virtually no pack space. Markbass do/did one, but any strap will do.

Cheers David, I actually have one of those but ironically I have just switched to MarkBass 1 X 15 and its too small! When I use both 15s it should work.

Not mine, they didn't. Outside of the 12 month warranty period, they weren't interested.

Very odd, mine was out of warranty and they replaced it anyway, no questions asked. I sent pics to confirm the model and it arrived two days later. The guy I spoke to was Robin Croker and he could not have been more helpful.

My Hercules stand has been consigned to the loft for the last year since it fell over during an interval and deposited one of my basses into the drum kit. The guitarist was nearby but swore he hadn't knocked it. I'm still not sure...might have to get it back out and try again, it was a very useful way of having two easily accessible basses on stage.
