Rick 4003s re-issue volume knobs

Hi all, 

might be a daft question, but on my 2016 Rick 4003s the two volume knobs don't make use of the full circle, so to speak.

What I mean is that already after turning them roughly halfway the pup is already completely off. The first quarter turn already takes it down around 70 or maybe 80%.

Is any fellow Ric4003s owner around who has the same?

Mine is a 2010 C64 and the volume knobs work pretty much all the way round.

You need them re-calibrated to go to 11.

In seriousness, I'm wondering if they are replacements and they've put in linear pots instead of log (audio) ones.

They sound more like audio / log pots than linear ones.

Well, it's meant to be an original 4003s and I'll take it apart to double check later. Pretty sure it is though as I got it new from a dealership.
