I usually make electronic music. But I’ve now bought a Marcus Miller V 7, 5 string, fretless. Interestingly I find it easier to move around on than my previous fretted bass. But I have no experience of creating funky riffs. And I’d like to learn some funky finger techniques. I don’t read music, nor play in a band. And I have no wish to currently. But I have a good sense of rhythm and rhyme, I like to think.

I need to learn some basic tricks that will help me in recording occasional live bass for my tracks. Or even sampling some licks into my electronic box of tricks. ^_^

Looking for a few, economic lessons! As I’m based in Islington, EC1, I’d like not to have to travel too far, if possible.  Thanks.
