bubinga5
Ok, so i sold my amplification for financial reason's. (That amp and cab being an AG 500sc, and a GS 212). Really loved it. Now looking to get a rig back. Just bought a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2, but I'm clueless what cab would match it, (ohms wise, or sound wise). Some might know I like Soul and Funk, Hip Hop, if thats anything to go by.. The bass is an active 5 string Jazz, if thats anything to go by also. Ideally I would like a smaller cab to take to rehearsal's, something I can sling in the back of the car. maybe a 112, 115,? and then pair it, add later, for bigger situations.. The budget for now is £400. Then I could add the same at a later date. Second hand is cool with me also. Thanks for any advice. M@23
There's a couple of Vanderkley 112 for sale here. They're great cabs. BIG, clear and powerful sounding cabs.
Lozz196
There have been a few Gen2 Barefaced cabs knocking around recently, pretty much any of them will fit the bill.
petergales
I use two Vanderkley 112EXTs with my Genz Benz Streamliner900. They are great cabs and very light into the bargain.
NJE
I think I would be looking at a secondhand Vanderkley if I was starting again. I like carpet covering on cabs for durability and they seem to be one of only a few companies making cabs that aren't tolex. Also if you can find one anywhere, EBS cabs are incredibly good IMO. I have had two in the past, neo and normal speakers, and both had so much thump and clarity, just superb.
NJE
Saying that I have just seen the tweed TKS cab in the amps for sale section, that is a lot of cab for £450, and I would gladly live with tweed covering.
