Here is this excellent PJ bass in a lovely three colour sunburst with a very well matched black scratchplate and bound and block marked neck.  It is stunning, very 70's and comprises:

  • After market bound and block marked Jazz neck which is really comfortable to play.
  • Hipshot string tree.
  • MIM Machine heads.
  • Squier 3 tone sunburst body.
  • SPB-3 neck pick up
  • Fender USA Dual coil Jazz pick up (This has a coil split)
  • Kiogen loom, and we all know how good they are.
  • MIJ threaded saddle bridge
  • Rotosound flats
  • Mojo Precision Bass head stock decal.

This bass is excellent all round.  It has a properly fitted battery box on the rear for a battery which is not currently being used and was fitted before I got it.  It also has the versatility of a coil split if you like that sort of thing.  I don't but love the big thundering sound of the humbucker.  Forget the bitsa and come and try it, you will be amazed at how good it is and it's a bit different.  I just can't get away with full scale anymore and am going to stick with my short and medium scales.  The bass weighs in at 4kg on my bathroom scales.

I live in Earls Barton near Northampton and would prefer pick up as I don't have any boxes currently.  I am happy to post if it essential but I will need to get a box.

Thanks for looking

Mike

I like it. Sadly a 6 hour round trip to try it is probably too much. If your band is touring the west country any time soon please let me know, we could meet up 😀
