nash Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 Just saw on their Instagram story there’s a sweet looking bass. 1 Quote
Tweedledum Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Now that's a universe I definitely DON'T want to be part of. 3 Quote
Doctor J Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Such radical visionary design in the other universe. It’s almost as if they don’t just jumble up a pile of existing parts and slap a name on it, like they do in this universe. 2 Quote
Tweedledum Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 How long until they re-issue the '55 P - single coil pickup, contourd ash body, 2TS finish? That's the perfect design. As far as I'm concerned, there was no need to re-invent the Precision Bass in 1957. 1 Quote
LeftyJ Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 (edited) I like that they're making crossovers from various classic Fender models, but I wish they'd do it with a little more... taste? For example, I really dig the stuff RS Guitarworks is doing with some of the classic designs, like a Jazz Bass in '50s P-bass style. Just awesome! https://rs-guitarworks.myshopify.com/collections/basses/products/contour-bass-54 Edited January 26, 2018 by LeftyJ 4 Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 I like it. Looks kinda cool, and I could definitely see me gigging one Quote

Cosmo Valdemar Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 It's the Jaguar Stratocaster thing lurking on the left that make me doubt Fender's sanity somewhat... Quote
GuyR Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Why didn't Fender think of the RS-guitarworks 50s style jazz bass. It's fabulous. 2 Quote
