Barking Spiders Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Blimmin well love a lot of the club sounds that came out of the late 70s -80s such as the big hits by The Whispers, McFadden & Whitehead, SOS Band, Alex O' Neal and this classic by D Train, mixed by Paul Hardcastle. Quote

Mikey D Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Little known Paul Jackson/James Levi/Freddie Jackson vibes.... It's also prompted me to do 30 sec of fonk between meetings as I just don't get time to do some 'proper' recording anymore. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CI079yxlce1/?igshid=1seox1xstdl0y 2 Quote

Barking Spiders Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Back in the 80s when duos were the thing for my money these guys were pretty much top of the pile but sadly underrated by the world at large. They made some cracking singles like Love Cascade and this, which features none other than Mark King knocking out a cracking, driving slap bass line Quote
