A bit out of left field this one but a bassline that really caught my attention back in 1976. Later found out it was Chuck Rainey so no wonder it's a groove monster. Takes a while to build up but then really hits the sweet spot. Cracking album by the way.

Im not sure of the bass player because they have had a few I believe. But this is just.!!!

 

In general I love this band. They are like the best mix of funk, prog rock and groove.. If there were expert musicians these guys have always been in my top 10

Been listening to a lot of his first 2 albums recently. Still have them on vinyl too.
