I’ve followed him before he even got signed. Soundcloud was a great place. Had loads of convos with him also. Cool guy. 1 Quote
lowdown Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 I heard some EW&F this morning. I had forgotten how groovy they really were. Great playing, tight horn arrangements and terrific vocals. 2 Quote

I only just came across it myself as I’m on the Jazz Cafe mailing list and she’s playing there this year and it sounded interesting. Am checking out the album too. Quatschmacher Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 This has a nice sleazy/funky vibe: Came across them randomly in a Glastonbury clip. Quote

Quatschmacher Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Probably posted this before but who cares when it’s this funky? https://youtu.be/mZmJ3Q7SfHE?si=i7_b5GtGfYdq1fdY Quote

There are a few catchy 'Sexy' Disco arrangements and orchestrations on there. Apart from 'Short Shorts', I'm not sure what that was all about. Mostly arranged by the 'Godfather of Disco' arrangements, Vince Montana. He was a member of MFSB as well. Talking of Sexy Orchestrations...TSOP. Quote
Reggaebass Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I quite like a bit of ESG now and again, some interesting grooves on this album Quote
Leonard Smalls Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 More Bootsy, new and old at the same time! 2 Quote
