Replacement pick guards

Need your help!

I'm going to get a black one for a fender jazz I've purchased. The genuine fender ones seem to be 3 to 4 times the price of no named ones I've seen.   Apart from being more 'authentic', is there any real benefit over the cheap non branded ones?  Or do you really see a difference? Cheap because they're thin and made from a different material?

Keep a weather eye on the For Sale section on here or maybe evilbay.  Some little gems do come up.

I got a decent P bass item from a seller based in Holland last year, straight fit, no issues.

You can get decent 3-ply ones on Amazon for around £11.  Avoid 1 ply as apparently they can warp over time.

I have bought a super cheap eBay special in the past, it came in less than a week from China (where most of the others come from anyway) and was a very good fit.

I've bought wd music ones and they're great.

Heard bad things about cheap tort though so for tort I went with genuine fender.
