Warm, punchy and zingy tones can be dialled in easily, the neck is fast, finger spacing fab for a 5, being a a die hard Roscoehead this is still in immaculate condition and needs to be played regularly. In a nutshell, the bass is in top nick, it's all about the ears and hands of the beholder, I would recommend it if that's worth anything and I've had many basses, a super tool for gigging any style. Al Krow Posted January 28, 2018 Share Posted January 28, 2018 (edited) I have the SR1206 six string model in my stable and I can vouch that it is a lovely bass. It has the older EQ set up (as compared to the more recent SR 1300 / 1800 / 1900 range) which means that it has a full EQ by-pass in passive mode, whereas the newer models now have tone control even in passive mode; so I use my SR1206 just in active mode.
