Excellent condition and working order. With deluxe case and tags. I think the colour is candy apple red and looks great under spots.

You can dial in a classic P bass tone and with the active electronics, anything from pure treble all the way to the most low ended floor shaking tone possible. The neck seems a bit quicker as well.

No, it still looks fresh.

When I played lead in the 60’s I went through many pre-cbs Strats and one was this colour. It was great about in the mid 70’s when all the pre-cbs stuff was around £350

Hi what are the marks on the back of the neck near the neckplate in the 4th pic and could you tell me it’s weight? I love the look of this. Cheers

Hi Ash,

Its fine cracks in the lacquer, like Karl’s, seems to be common.

The weight is 3.9kg, don’t forget it’s got that thumping pickup
