Kev Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 iv never had any issues with regular length strings not being long enough for through body stringing... which ones have you tried that were too short??? whichever strings i buy, i always chop a load off at the end otherwise id be winding forever! Used to use D'addario nickels in my top loaded Stingray but the same strings are too short for the other Stingray with string thru body (half inch of winding on fingerboard). Switched to Slappers.
