Paddy515
Hi all - just a quick one. Running the above Metro with a Mesa Powerhouse 115. Is it feasable to use an ABY and safely use the Y for both channels together. 2x10" 8 ohm Eden speakers and 8 ohm Mesa running at 3.67ohms in total through each channel independantly. Thanks and regards, Paddy.
Mykola
Unsafe is go under 2 Ohms. In your combination 115 4 Ohm cabinet must roar much louder than native Metro 210 8 Ohms, and then here is no logic when monitoring speakers are upstaged by boomy bottom of 15". My suggestion is to look for EDEN D210XST 8Ohm for reach and balanced Metro sound. Good luck
Paddy515
Hi Mycola - all 3 speakers (2x10 and 115) are rated 8 ohm EACH. Regards, Paddy
obbm
3 x 8-ohm speakers in parallel is 2.67-ohms. What ABY are you planning to use, how and why?

Oh yes - brain fade!! Anyway I knew it was at a safe level of impedance. Used to ABY a TE head and a Laney head into two different cabs (10's and a 15) with eq's set to different settings and mix the two to give me my overall sound. My son has a Fender Ramparte for his six string guitars which has a cool and a hot channel and borrows my Fender ABY pedal to mix his sound . I wondered if I could do the same with the Metro. Thanks and regards, Paddy.
obbm
Thee Metro has a channel selector switch, A or B. Unless you can find some way of over-riding this and having both channels on at once I would say probably not.
