Cheap basses with jazz-like necks

Looking to buy a cheap bass for spare, I use a MIA Jazz Deluxe as my main bass and looking for a bass that plays similarly on the neck. What are my options besides Squier?

I have a great Aria ATB with one of the best necks I have played. Only payed £80 for it last year. It’s my backup bass for gigs and has never let me down.

There are a few Peaveys that spring to mind - cheap and cheerful Milestone aren't bad, Fury and Foundation petty damned good, especially the USA ones with the lined headstocks.

I got a J&D jazz as a backup / pub gig bass last year from DV24/7 (Musicstire de) for £114 (I believe) was really impressed with it .. so much so I upgraded the hardware / pickups & had a fret level as I thought it was worth it ....

I got a Peavey Milestone as a cheap passive backup - I've ended up playing quite a few gigs with it.

G&L SB-2 Tribute maybe? Not sure if that is cheap to you, but it does have a very nice jazz sized neck.

Up to 200 quid or thereabout.

Hmmm. You could do worse than a Yamaha BB424 or similar. The P/J config would give you a different flavour to your US Jazz.
