Curious to know people's views on this..

I have always pronounced it to rhyme with tone but have heard some use the word epiphany.

There is a small part of my brain that rhymes it with phoney as they are fake Gibsons, but that's just on the inside!

Probably best to avoid those people in future.

Could be fun delving deeper in to the history of the brand if you think this :)

It was meant to be tongue in cheek :-)

Thanks for letting me know

My question was about the guitar manufacturer, and other people's incorrect pronunciation. Maybe they are the confused ones?

Rubbish! It's scone, not scone! Some people, eh!

That’s what I said - scone  If only some people would listen life would be so much easier (hears the stop it it’s getting silly from MP in his head)

I once had afternoon tea at the Ritz and the waiter pronounced it 'scone' so I was right all along. I mean, they must be right at Ritz.

Crackers.

Ritz do crackers. Which is why, when someone pretends to be a bit nuts, it's called 'putting on the ritz'.
