How do you pronounce Epiphone?

Curious to know people's views on this..

I have always pronounced it to rhyme with tone but have heard some use the word epiphany. 

There is a small part of my brain that rhymes it with phoney as they are fake Gibsons, but that's just on the inside!

I pronounce it correctly as 'Epiphone'

My question was about the guitar manufacturer, and other people's incorrect pronunciation. Maybe they are the confused ones?

I once had afternoon tea at the Ritz and the waiter pronounced it 'scone' so I was right all along. I mean, they must be right at Ritz.

Ritz do crackers. Which is why, when someone pretends to be a bit nuts, it's called 'putting on the ritz'.
