BreadBin
Curious to know people's views on this.. I have always pronounced it to rhyme with tone but have heard some use the word epiphany. There is a small part of my brain that rhymes it with phoney as they are fake Gibsons, but that's just on the inside!

Jean-Luc Pickguard
I pronounce it correctly as 'Epiphone' 1
stingrayPete1977
The name "Epiphone" is a combination of proprietor Epaminondas Stathopoulos' (Επαμεινώνδας Σταθόπουλος) nickname "Epi" and "phone" (from Greek phon- (φωνή), "voice").[4]

Steve Browning
I once had afternoon tea at the Ritz and the waiter pronounced it 'scone' so I was right all along. I mean, they must be right at Ritz. Edited February 12, 2018 by Steve Browning Typo
T-Bay
I thought Ritz did biscuits not scones? Not had them in years, can you still get Them?
FinnDave
Crackers. Ritz do crackers. Which is why, when someone pretends to be a bit nuts, it's called 'putting on the ritz'. Edited February 12, 2018 by FinnDave
