JohnnyLightyear
Hi guys, I'm after a little advice, just to be on the safe side. I have just bought an epifani UL110 cab (wow it small and light yet surprisingly deep!) which I run a LMII through. I gigged it at the weekend and it worked brilliantly as backline monitoring. However, I'm a bit nervous about how much gain I can run through it without damaging the driver. While I have no plans to hit 11 I'd appreciate people's thoughts, if for peace of mind if nothing else. Specs are as follows: The UL110 has a single 10" speaker 250w at 8 ohms (Power Rating: 250w RMS (600w Peak)) and a 100w RMS tweeter. Epifani say the 'suggested wattage is 100w - 500w. The LM II is, I think, 300W RMS @ 8 ohm. Cheers, Johnny
MythSte
General Consensus seems to be that as long as you keep an ear out for any noises emanating from the cab that shouldn't be, youll be okay!
