I can't wait to hook it up to my DHA pedal (once it's completed and with me) and get some tube loveliness with it. I got an almost 'pick' sound with my fingers and it was just what it was after. This is the first bass I've been entirely happy with. Although I must say the old muscle memory is requiring a bit of a re-jig, as my last 5 string was a 34" with 19mm spacing and the Spector is a 35" with 17mm spacing.
