stewblack
Anyone recommend a good musicians stool? I'm spending hours a day rehearsing and learning and can't stand for all of it. My dining room chair is feckin uncomfortable. Edited February 13, 2018 by stewblack typo
uk_lefty
There's loads of good ones that have a guitar stand built in. And Ashdown do that one which is a cushion on top of a cab...

phil.c60
I bought a drum throne, so it's seat-shaped and has a backrest. It was quite expensive but it gets used a lot and is completely adjustable. It was the Roc and Soc one as recommended by my drummer and it works for me. Great idea and folds away fairly easily!
deepbass5
I bought a good one for the Mrs when she broke a bone in her foot and couldn't stand and sing all night - foot got better and i kept the seat - check Thomann.de It was £100 + but it is a good one fully adjustable and great for sitting gigs because you can be higher than the standard chairs provided, mine has a back important if you need to sit for a whole concert, see below https://www.thomann.de/gb/mey_chair_systems_afsrklah_bk.htm Edited February 13, 2018 by deepbass5

TheGreek
I looked on eBay - "musicians stools" yields loads of (expensive) results. "Bar stools" on the other hand yields stuff like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auction-Set-of-2-Core-Line-Faux-Leather-Chrome-Bar-Stool-MATT1A204-2/391978785460?hash=item5b43c19ab4:g:2RUAAOSw3q5aeZjW https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clearance-Set-Of-2-Malina-Walnut-Cream-Faux-Leather-Chrome-Barstools-FIL105-1/372217158272?hash=item56a9df1a80:g:W8AAAOSwIJlaTlLk https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Auction-Single-Core-Grey-Faux-Leather-Chrome-Bar-Stool-MATT1A212-1/232660938726?hash=item362bac2fe6:g:mTkAAOSwU9Raft06 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clearance-Set-Of-2-Orlando-Walnut-Black-Faux-Leather-Barstools-FIL-133-1/372218017627?hash=item56a9ec375b:g:cksAAOSwItJafcZ- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bar-stool/222829023362?hash=item33e1a51082:g:mrUAAOSwGHJaciAp Pays to be vague apparently...
obbm
I picked up a used one of these from Ebay for a few quid. Very comfortable for long periods. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-of-two-bar-stools-brown-bar-chairs-dining-stool-bar-furniture/222836996091?hash=item33e21eb7fb:g:HcYAAOSwBp9agrXA I have a butt-kicker attached to the footrest and use it during gigs with a mix of my bass and kick drum fed into it.

Happy Jack
I use the K&M 14045 with optional backrest: https://www.thomann.de/gb/km_stehhilfe_14045.htm?ref=search_rslt_stool_246467_1 Thomann do a similar, but much cheaper, stool by Millennium too. Hellzero
I've used an ironing stool for a while ("stole" it from my mother a very long time ago), so you are sitted, but almost still standing and in a comfortable position. Quite cheap if you want to buy one.
Rocker
Gibraltar drum throne. Costly but worth every penny. I use mine for guitar, bass and piano as I suffer from back pain. Mine is shaped like an old fashioned scooter seat. But better padded.
