Has anyone tried a Boss ODB3 at 18v? I've got one on my board, and my power supply has a spare 18v output, but I'm not sure if it'll blow it up or not, anyone got any insight?

I've had lots of fortunate accidents with running pedals at 18V but I think you'll be taking a big risk with an ODB-3. It's been around for so long that if it was capable of running at 18V and sounding better for it, it would probably be common knowledge by now.

Anyhow, I don't think it needs 18V, it sounds pretty solid at 9V and doesn't need the extra headroom. I've had low gain overdrives that have greatly benefited from 18V when used with a hot output bass, but the ODB-3 can take a pretty hot input signal and not get mushy or bogged down as it is.
