MattBanshee
Hi all, Quick question; I have purchased a red Fender Mex standard (2008) P Bass on ebay, that I hope to collect this weekend. I want to change the scratchplate from white to black. There's a cheap one on Amazon Prime that looks perfect, but the plate has a truss-rod adjustment rout in the neck base area. Will this make any difference to whether it'll fit? I don't mind if it looks a bit weird (grunge innit) but just wondered if it was likely to cause other issues. Thanks
Lozz196
Shouldn`t be a problem. If it doesn`t fit that`s unlikely to be the cause.

hooky_lowdown
Sounds like a pickguard for US p bass, so would fit MIM ok. Being a third party pickguard you will probably have to file the holes for the pups.

Being Amazon Prime though, if it doesn't fit I'll send it back and get a better one 😉
