Make sure you click on their avatar and the link goes orange. They then get a nudge to look. Bit like facebook Tried that and it does look as tho its doing something but waited a full 2mins and still nothing appeared so just gonna give that a miss. I'm gonna have a think about it, in the meantime, any takers? Sure. Space Is The Place, with pretty much any incarnation of Sun Ra's band. Harryburke14
Sledgehammer with Peter Gabriel was my first thought. I'm such a weird not-quite-20 year old 😅 Either that or Mr Blue Sky with all of ELO. That would be pretty special as a Bluenose.

silverfoxnik
Good thread ☺ Right now, my choices would be either; 'Moonage Daydream' with Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars, or 'Under My Skin' with Frank Sinatra and The Woody Herman Band (circa 1974) or 'The Light Pours Out of Me' with Magazine Ask me tomorrow though, and there'd be three completely different choices. 😁
GuyR
City of tiny lights with Frank Zappa would be fun.

I love Lem’s playing in Hawkwind; I learnt to play by playing along to Space Ritual.

I suppose the bass I’d mainly heard growing up was a mixture of walking jazz & Macca (we were a “jazz only” household until I was about 10, but I used to stay at my aunt’s a lot and my older cousins - in their teens - were into the Beatles). In a weird sort of way, to me at least, Lem combined something of the movement & melody of both whilst turning it all up to 11. Anyway, apologies, back to the thread! BTW, the first album I ever bought was ABBA’s Greatest Hits. I really do love them you know. I’ve even got a signed picture of Benny!
