Sends mids and highs through the loop, while keeping the lows clean. Enables to utilise wide-array of overdrive/fuzz/modulation pedals with bass.

It is pre-set. Can't tell the exact frequency, but it sounds like it is higher than 500hz, as "clean" band gets the lows and most of the mids, while upper mids are going through the loop.
