Conan
A top quality piece of eighties bass memorabilia! Excellent hardware, timbers and electronics (Tokai Hard Thumper pickup, solid brass bridge, quality tuners and fully screened control cavity for example). Really nails the P bass sound. Extremely light - 8lb 6oz on my kitchen scales! Slightly neck heavy (probably due to the large headstock and smallish body), but nothing a decent strap can't deal with. Lovely neck. All original, but I had to give it a bit of a body refinish due to the terrible state it was in when I got it. A few dings and scratches, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a 34 year old instrument. I'm in no hurry to move this on, but as I have four basses now and this one gets the least use, it seems sensible to test the waters. No original case, but I'll happily chuck in a padded Fender gig bag. I am happy to post it at the buyer's expense and risk, and can deliver within a reasonable radius of Newcastle upon Tyne (or anywhere along the A69/A75 corridor) for fuel costs. Conan
No interest in this cracker of a bass at a bargain price? Surprising... Oh well, bump for the weekend

Wilco
Nice - good price too. I must admit to having a hankering for a fretted Westone Thunder, but it would have to be an active for me. This shouldn't here for long I reckon.
