walshy Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Can’t decide if I like the colour or if it’s hideous
TheGreek Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 A couple of reasons why you shouldn't buy this: It's probably a scam It's a Rick Not sure which is the bigger crime. 1

It's not a Ric - it's a Chickenbacker, probably £250 new (give or take the paint job). (Oh, and I've played my Ric through your amp, and it sounded pretty good!)

Hellzero Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Anyway a gift is something someone took the time to look for and therefore shall never be (re)sold. Then he could discover what a bass really is. Ok, there are 2 problems here too : 1. He is a guitar player. 2. It's a Rick. I know the first is a curse, but the second could be worse. 1
ped Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Although we’re not allowed to host Rickenbacker sales on Basschat due to John Hall being a (omitted for legal reasons), I can’t say I’m unhappy to see fake ricks being sold elsewhere. Scam or not! 1
