PawelG Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 How do I know what size pickguard is on my jazz bass? I bought one in the past and it didn't fit my bass. Quote
dannybuoy Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Might help to tell us what Jazz bass you have! Squier CVs are a bit of a non-standard shape, this I know as I struggled to find a direct fit for mine. Quote

Now I have a Japanese 60’s FSR Jazz Bass in Walnut. I’m thinking tort pickguard... Quote

Paul S Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 There are one or two of the sellers on eBay that have a printable template you can download and cut out. At least, they did have for a Precision bass. I don't recall who off the top of my head - possibly Dangleberry Music or Black Dog. You need to follow the instructions for scaling it correctly, too, as printers often seem to have a mind of their own and churn out stuff to a different scale to what goes in. Although that may be more down to my not actually knowing what I am doing with machines of any sort. Quote
