lowdown Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 All these Bear jokes, are they really a necessity? Quote
lurksalot Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Well mine is just about done now , I'm going to do my age old trick of hanging on just in case I find someone to put a vocal over it instead of me , but the track is done , and it will probably be posted the day before the end.......with me on it ☹️ Quote
the boy Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 (edited) entry removed for editing Edited March 8, 2018 by the boy gonna try and apply some mastering to track. Quote
christofloffer Posted March 10, 2018 Posted March 10, 2018 hi folks, been out for a bit except for coming to vote. i have been in a weird place with music for a while and writing has been almost impossible. that said, i have got something for this one. not that it particularly lines up with the pic but aside from a compilation of bear sounds (very nearly happened) i couldnt see anything that would. the tune as a whole didnt quite gel the way i wanted it to, but i am putting that down to a severe lack of practice over the last few months. lurksalot Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 OK I'm in not really a fun one , but hey the music part is reasonable, and as no-one else particularly like it in my household I think it is past any further work , so enjoy if you can Quote

However I’m not so sure there’s any greatness in two grown men penning numbers with talking polar bears in them. 1 Quote
Mornats Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Here's mine: The polar bear isn't talking in mine I'm afraid. I wasn't sure how to approach this one but then thought, why is the bear down here at the car? It's because he's got no polar home any more. So this is a sad one. 1 Quote
Bilbo Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 (edited) I am in. A bit scrappy in the performance area but there you are. A bit of fun. The opening guitar line is a variation on Teddy Bear's Picnic, which is the extent of the 'inspiration'. https://soundcloud.com/robert-palmer-1/has-anyone-seen-a-glacier-mint-anywhere-near-here Edited March 21, 2018 by Bilbo Quote
Skol303 Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 ^ Good to have you back Rob. And well done all. I'm not going to make it this month... my music stuff is still in disarray whilst I'm faffing around with various DIY projects (now on first name terms with the staff at Screwfix). I'll launch the voting thread sometime on Sunday morning, so there's still opportunity for any last-minute entries... Quote
the boy Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 https://soundcloud.com/theboysings/we-are-like-vanpires One more talking polar bear. Quote
lowdown Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 (edited) Mine for this month and a bit of a rush... Edited March 24, 2018 by lowdown Quote
Bleat Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Sorry, no talking polar bears in this one. Open to your own interpretation I think. A real slap dash effort guys, noticed closing date so did this all today in a blind panic! No polar bears were harmed and no baby seals clubbed in the making of this music. Cheers, James Quote
