LukeFRC
mmm looks like they realised they had a nice bass in the bongo but it was too ugly to sell.... ofset the waist a bit and it would look nicer
Tinman
It would also be nice if they gave it 24 frets
Sean.Robinson
Am i the only one who thinks the body shape looks very similar to a G&L ASAT Bass? that said i dont know if the axis guitar was released prior to the ASAT

Now its either that bloke looks like Gary Glitter?....or....this bass is a sh*tt*r(large possibility as the bongo looks like a toilet seat)....or.....its Cockney Rhyming slang for a pint of bitter?..... or.....ALL 3.....You Decide! Jarhead
I like it, but maybe in a transparent blue or red or something. Don't think I'm likely to get one though, because I have no money. My new amp didn't fall out of the sky, unfortunately. Would have been nice if it had though. Zach
Lfalex v1.1
It looks short scale in that pic but I can't imagine for one minute it is.
I thought that, but when was the last time anyone saw a long scale bass with a bridge that far up the body?
Haha MB1, you never fail to make me laugh. This new prototype looks horrible IMO. I reckon it could look better with a solid colour and matching headstock but then again, its only a prototype at the mo.

Rayman
Yeah, I think it looks a bit like the ASAT too, but I think the ASAT body is nice, it's the headstock I can't get on with. As far as this prototype MM is concerned, it looks really good to me. I'll look forward to developments.

Saying that, the rather simple look is quite attractive.
