whynot
My SWB-1 is for sale, in great condition. This is the active model, Ash body. Been used from top London functions to Butlins music weekends. Purchased last summer. Only reason for selling is I'm in the process of ordering the Pro version and full payment is required up front, so thought I'd get the ball rolling. New price for the lefty version is £515. Looking for £390 ovno, UK postage included. Edited April 11, 2018 by whynot
Chownybass
I've sent this link on to a customer who has been after a lefty from us for a while. 1
sblueplanet
How is the balance and weight? Is it short scale?
Happy Jack
I have the (right-handed) fretless version of this bass - bought it on Sunday at the LBGS having played it repeatedly over the last year. Balance is excellent, weight not as light as you might expect (mine is rather more than 8lbs), scale is classic shortscale at just over 30". Like all good shortscales, this one encourages you to have fun with it and to try things you might not tackle on, say, a Precision. No idea why, it just seems to work that way. whynot
My scales don't work but I would say around the 8 lbs mark. Bass sits well with strap. Here's some spec.. http://chownybass.com/product/swb-1-scott-whitley-signature/ I don't make home videos but will see if there is something out there of me using this one. whynot
sblueplanet, yes can confirm shortscale 30.75". Happy Jack, agree, fun to play and that neck and scale makes playing a breeze.
