Porpoise face Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 I'm selling this instrument for my friend, who recently passed away. It will be sold as seen. A slight lacquer overspray has been applied. I can only assume to darken it. Not sure when. It comes with what can only be described as a semi Flight case. Postage is extra
bassbiscuits Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Hello Porpoiseface, You may find it easier to sell if you let people know where you are located, as I imagine potential buyers might be keen to see and try it first. Good luck with the sale.
Steve Browning Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Are you sure about the overspray? I only say that because the colouring of the body/headstock is fairly typical for basses of this era. One of mine looks as though it's had cigarette smoke blown at it continually for all its life! We tend to be fixated on weight too, so an idea of that would probably help. GLWTS 1
Al Owen Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Interested. still for sale ? If so, where are you ?
Porpoise face Posted April 9, 2018 Author Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) Hi everyone, this bass is still for sale and I am in Farnham Surrey. I apologise for not getting back earlier. I think the weight is approx 9.5 pounds. It feels quite light. In answering the overspray question, I am only guessing, but I am sure the original colour is natural.
