Under the bridge pickup is the exact date stamp, this bass is from the 15th September 1988. Neck: Carbon PU´s: single coil Benedetis Electronic: 1x volume 1x treble 1x Freq 1x miniswitch (Freq cut,neutral,Freq boost) 1 x PU Selector switch Schaller bridge, tuners and security locks. The colour seems to be unique, at least I have never seen another Vigier in greenburst, while the blueburst finish is almost a standard on these. Amazingly well made, the graphite neck reaches deep into the body up to the pickups. It features Vigier´s active 18V electronics with parametric mids option, and the two fat single coil pickups are strong even in neutral mode. The tone is fat and extremely versatile, the sustain holds on forever. To me it sounds like a Jazz Bass on steroids. The neck is slim and very fast. The frets are in very good condition. The bass is overall in well played good condition, there are some dings and scratches in the finish. Some of the clear coat finish over the silver logo on the headstock has flaked off, I think ist shows on the pics. The important thing for me is the back of the neck, and this is still flawless. The weight is amazing, it´s only 3480 grams. With a strap the balance is perfect, no neck diving on this one.
