PawelG
Wow. What a band! Anton Fig, Michael Rhodes, Reese Wynans and others. Absolutely stunning and tight sound. Now, I only really like Joe's early work but it was a great show. Mr Rhodes was swapping basses more than Joe did guitars! Quite unexpected. Every single bass he played had an absolute monster tone. He only plays what's needed, super tasteful. Long, rich notes, executed to perfection. It was amazing. He played through 2 stacks of Ashdown CTM 300 with 8x10 matching Ashdown cabs. And oh my god, it sounded superb. Certainly one of the best things I've heard live. Edited March 18, 2018 by PawelG
ezbass
I didn’t realise that JB had changed bass players again, the last I knew it was Carmine Rojas. Good to hear that the bass was well mixed and audible, right down to the different tones. I would’ve like to have heard/seen that gig.
