FedeB
Hello everyone, I have put in my bass dr black beauties strings for 3 weeks and the first string has already lost the bright sound, is this normal with these strings?
blablas
In my experience it is, they go dead rather quick, used several sets on some of my six and five string basses and they all started dying after a few weeks and were completely dead (in my opinion) after three months. eude
Yup, I used to use Black Beauties on all my basses, but they started to have some serious quality control issues, dead strings straight out of the packet, usually the B string, and they didn't last nearly as long as they used to. I'd try some other strings if I were you...
Highfox
I had problems with the only set I tried as well. buzzing sound on a Stingray and also on a passive P. Liked the feel but not the buzz. I think it was the coating that caused the problem.
