Monz Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 OK, I got my shiny new Bottom feeder today... No manual with it so I was wondering if one of you knowledgable types would explain the purpose of the controls. I want to achieve a subtle wah effect. I also have an EBS multicomp on my pedal board too if this will help tame the beast <crosses fingers> Quote
tayste_2000 Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 From left to right 11 o clock and 1 o clock 1 o clock and 10-11 o clock Thats what I used when you heard it. You want the multi comp after it Quote
Toasted Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I set mine 7-8pm on the left knob and 12-2 on the right one. Sexay! Quote
Kev Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 gunna have to experiment matey, totally dependant on the output of your bass Quote
dannybuoy Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Setting the left knob low results in the freq dropping down really faster and lower after it's opened up. Increasing that raises the frequency it hovers around, making it sound less drastic, although you don't really want to go higher than 2 o'clock on that one. Then adjust the right hand knob for the desired sensitivity which will depend on the output of your bass and how bright/subby you want it to sound. Quote
Toasted Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Steve, have there been revisions to this circuit? Quote

Monz Posted November 25, 2008 Author Posted November 25, 2008 Thanks guys... Have done some noodling with your suggested settings and it sounds great, backing the bass output off also makes it less enthusiastic. Well recommended that man ) Quote
