pst62 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Just ordered the Babicz three point replacement for my Thunderbird. My question is. Does it need the shim plate or not? Thanks in advance for any advice. Quote
FinnDave Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Which Thunderbird? I have an Epiphone pro vi upstairs that was fitted with a Babicz by a previous owner, I can pop up and take a look if it's the right bass. One thing I can reassure about is that you won't regret buying the bridge, it's a beaut. My Epiphone with that bridge was a better bass than my Gibson with standard bridge; when I needed to cut back, the Gibson was old and the Epiphone stayed. Edited March 27, 2018 by FinnDave Quote

only4 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Great bridge. I have one on my EB0, it just sits over the original bushes and then screws into the back two, easy. Quote
