I had that idea this morning. Glow in the dark epoxy at the 3rd,5th,7th (and so on)?

Quite interesting. From the current bodged assembly of it it has a decent amount of sustai but not as much as your standard scale bass. Nice brightness from the maple f/b and the mahog gives it a little more growl and lovely open pore bassyness

Yeah, I got bored of standard outputs because they get in the way, I play left knee sometimes.

I have never felt comfortable playing sat down but the socket position on each of my paddle basses makes it even more awkward for me.

It might help if you think of it this way;

The hole is not ugly.  It is the bit around the hole that makes it look that way.
