zander71 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 (edited) Here is a very nice 1978 Fender P Bass I picked up about a year ago. It apparently was originally Antigua but was resprayed many years ago to this nice pewter colour. It comes with the original hanging tags and ashtray covers and is mainly original. The pickguard has been replaced and the pickups, pots and wiring don't look original on inspection. The bass weighs 9lbs and plays and sits lovely. No major issues and plenty of life in the frets also. The neck, body, tuners, bridge, string tree, neckplate and strap buttons as well as the screws all look original and all in all this is a great late 70's Precision bass.
