4000
I believe he has a nerve condition, IIRC. He addresses it in one of his videos. Met Scott many years ago when he was at Overwater. Really nice bloke. Did a great setup on the Jaydee I bought too.
CameronJ
Yep, that’s Scott Devine. A great guy and great player. As 4000 said, the gloves help with a nerve condition in his hands when playing bass. He doesn’t always wear the glove, but mostly he does.
naxos10
It's Scott Devine and he has a neurological condition called focal dystonia that makes his fingers/hand shake when they are not touching something. The gloves help to stop the movement by acting as a support. Scott explains it better in one of his You Tube videos.
rushscored4
I used to have to wear a fingerless glove on my right hand when I started playing bass 40 years ago as I used a pick back then and I'm allergic to metal so I got a rash from resting my hand on the strings and bridge.
