fretmeister
The old Roland Bass Cube 30. Still got mine despite my posh Barefaced / DG M900 / Tecamp Puma rig.

Plus one to that. Used regularly at home and in practice for the past 8 years. Never missed a beat and always surprises with its output.
Graham
The little Peavey TNT combos sound great, far better than they look like they should.

Deedee
Old Marshall Bass 15 watt. Haven’t touched a dial for about 6 years - sounds great every time.
VTypeV4
Peavey Microbass - great little thing despite it's size and being a bit basic. Not sure what the newer ones are like but the models from the late '90s / '00s punch well above their weight.
rushscored4
Any of the Fender Rumble V3 series. All come with great vintage tone and are ridiculously lightweight. I've even gigged with my Rumble 100 V3 which cost £260 new and is powerful enough for small to medium sized venues like most of the pubs we play. chris_b
The best low volume amp and cab I use for playing at home is my regular Aguilar TH500 and a Barefaced One10. If I add the second One10 the sound is wonderful.

In fact his post doesn't match the topic title at all!

IMO if you can sound this good playing at home why settle for anything less.

I don't find it's too bad, but I have to zone out the noise on mine as well.

Still use it for rehearsals - we run a mini-mixer into it and it handles bass and vocals.
