JamesLawrence
Does anyone know of any good dedicated oscillator pedals? The ones I am coming across seem to be part of a fuzz pedal, and I am all fuzzed out. Would primarily be used for opening/closing gigs with walls of noise
GisserD
are you looking for pedals that self oscillate? as in.... feed some output into the input?
Quatschmacher
SonicSmith Convertor or Squaver P1. They are heavily discounted at present as they are about to launch new models. Moog Freqbox. Iron Ether Subterranea (currently relaunched for a limited time). Pigtronix Mothership 2. If you don’t need it to track fast playing then you could get a Sonuus G2M v3 and hook it up to any MIDI-controlled analogue or digital synth. There’s loads of good hardware stuff out there around £200-300 (Korg Monologue, Behringer Model D) or as iPhone apps for under £15-30 (Korg ARP ODYSSEi, Moog Minimoog Model D). Yes that's it. I like the Fuzzrocious Moth but it's a lot of money for something that will be used sparingly
jposega
Most delay or reverb pedals can go into self-oscillation.
dannybuoy
Analog delay pedal (or a decent digital emulation of one). I have a Carbon Copy on my board purely for making earthquake/ghost/spaceship noises - you can play it like it's own instrument, tweaking it with your toes whilst playing the bass! dannybuoy
The original dark green one, whatever that is! Not tried the new bright one.

dannybuoy
I'll record a clip so you can see what's possible with it before you splash the cash! EHX Memory Boy/Toy should work too, cost less and have expression control. But the MXR is particularly suited to controlling the knobs with the edge of your foot, especially after you fit the rubber surrounds the MXR sell. Romeo2
Ibanez ES-2 Echo Shifter delay goes into beautiful analogue oscillation, walls of sound sweet and sick, and is a brilliant delay too.
